What a difference a Google makes

I know this is rather old news by now, but I recently went in and checked by Feedburner stats on who's watching my feeds, and was greeted by:

Feedburner and Google Feedfetcher

Needless to say, a little suprising. Turns out Google added reader stats so that apps like Feedburner can figure out how many readers you have at Google. Interesting stuff... kind of interesting at how many people use RSS nowadays. (Note to self: try not to muck up the Good-Tutorials RSS feed any time soon!)

Comments

This blog only has a dozen or two, so I'm definitely not in the same boat here. But it's still fun, as I get some good comments, so I'll keep blogging. :)

I thought you could subscribe to categories

Do you mind my asking how many subscribers Good-Tutorials has? If you do, don't worry about answering me!

I'm subscribed to Good-Tutorials via Thunderbird, I have all my tutorials that made it to the front page in there and delete the rest :D

Although I do look at them before deleting :)

Can't remember specifically; somewhere around 5,000 I think.

You know you could just subscribe to your author feed separately, right? :)

That's a nice amount of subscribers. The most I've ever had on a single site would be around 200.

And yes I do know that, that's a nice little feature how you can subscribe to any website's feed. Although I rather the front page heh :)
